An art minor in college and an internship at the Chinati Foundation are, so far, his most direct experience in the arts and museums. He has also been a recent tutor for the Taylor Artist’s Guild for their blue skies scholarship.

Working in several different mediums, she is always exploring and experimenting, following every creative impulse as it comes. The fruits of Rebecca’s natural artistic abilities and imagination are manifested in everything she creates. From pen and ink, acrylic painting, children’s book illustration, to woodcarving and doll making, the possibilities for expression are endless.

 

Raised in the west Texas town of Slaton, in Lubbock County, she has a fondness for the small-town lifestyle.  She now lives in Taylor, Texas, where she is active in local art organizations and her art.

 

“It is my desire to embrace all that is delightful to me, and translate it into something I can share with others, which I hope will spark their imaginations. Everyone has a creative side that wants to come out.”

Judy Blundell studied for her BFA in design and studio art at the University of Texas and earned further qualifications from the Julian Ashton School of Art in Sydney Australia. Her contemporary landscapes represent the unprecedented energy that abounds in nature.
